Textbook: Aula Internacional Plus 2 (Spanish edition only). The Getty Museum will order this book for you if you do not have it.

This class is part of the A1 level, per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards. Throughout the A1 level, which consists of various terms, you will be able to do the following:

  • Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment at the Getty).

  • Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters, such as how to get to an exhibit.

  • Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
