ASL and Spanish Classes at the Frick

All classes are online with a live instructor, and run for 10 weeks per semester. This is a year-long program with 1-2 week break between semesters. Your commitment is expected and appreciated.

  • ASL - Beginners 1

    As a primary language for around half a million people, connect with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community through ASL.

    No previous studies are required. This is a Complete Beginners class.

    Fridays, 9-10 AM. May 8 - July 24. No class on June 19 and July 3.

  • Spanish - Beginners 1

    Whether you want to connect with museum visitors, interact with Spanish-speaking staff, or plan a trip to Spain or Latin America, this class is a unique opportunity to get you to speak the language.

    No previous studies are required. This is a Complete Beginners class.

    Thursdays, 10-11 AM. May 7 - July 16. No class on May 14.
