ASL at the Guggenheim

ASL classes are in person with a live instructor, and run for 10 weeks per semester. Fully funded by the Guggenheim :)

  • Advanced Beginner 2

    As a primary language of about a million people, connect with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community through ASL! A language represented through hand gestures and facial emotions!

    This is NOT a Complete Beginners class; at least 90 hours of previous studies are required.

  • Beginners 1

    American Sign Language is a unique language with its own grammar and syntax, separate from English, allowing for rich and precise communication.

    This a Complete Beginners class. A total of 10 weeks of online classes. No previous studies required.

    Tuesdays, 9-10 AM EST. March 31 - June 2.
