Spanish Classes this Term

Continue learning Spanish at the Getty with our offerings for next semester. All classes are online with a live instructor, and run for 10 weeks per semester. All are funded by the Getty Museum :)

  • Beginners 3

    Spanish opens the door to deeper connections—with people, stories, and cultures that enrich both our work and our everyday lives.

    At least 20 hours of previous studies are required. This is NOT a Complete Beginners class.

    Thursdays, 3-4 PST. January 8 - March 12.

  • Cafecito en Español

    Build confidence connecting with visitors in Spanish through our new conversation-based class, Cafecito en Español!

    A total of 10 weeks of classes. For those who completed Advanced Beginners 1 level at the Getty or its equivalent. At least 60 hours of previous studies are required.

    Tuesdays, 1-2 PM PST. January 6 - March 10.

  • Intermediate 1

    Whether your goal is to connect with visitors, collaborate with staff, or explore Spain and Latin America, this class is your pathway to speaking Spanish.

    For those who completed Advanced Beginners 6 level at the Getty or its equivalent. At least 120 hours of previous studies are required.

    Thursdays, 10-11 AM PST. January 8 - March 12.

ASL at the Getty

All classes are online with a live instructor and run for 10 weeks. All funded by the Getty Museum :)

  • Beginners 2

    As a primary language for around a million people, connect with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community through ASL.

    At least 10 hours of previous studies are required. This is not a Complete Beginners class.

    Mondays, 3-4 PM PST. January 5 - March 23. No class on January 19 and February 16.
